We appreciate there have been numerous Government support schemes with various eligibility criteria and funding periods.
We’ve created the chart below to provide an overview of the schemes that have been running since the start of the second national lockdown in November, and to help you understand which you’re eligible to apply for.
If you don’t meet the criteria for one of these schemes, please subscribe to our newsletter so we can keep you informed of any future programmes that might become available.
In response to the national lockdown restrictions taking effect from 5 January, we’ve now received guidance from Government which sets out how we should administer the following grant support schemes:
Businesses eligible for this scheme are those live on the South Kesteven District Council business rates register and have been instructed to close by Government. They include non-essential retail, leisure, personal care, sports facilities and hospitality businesses.
Eligibility for the Closed Business Lockdown Payment is the same as the Local Restrictions Support Grant (Closed) Addendum: 5 January onwards scheme (as above).
Businesses that are eligible are those that have been instructed to close by Government and include non-essential retail, leisure, personal care, sports facilities and hospitality businesses.
For businesses that have already applied and are eligible for the previous Local Restriction Support Grants, an application is not required. We will process the grant based upon previously submitted information and make both payments at the same time.
Please refer to the checklist below to confirm your eligibility before applying for the Local Restriction Support Grants for the first time:
– Is your business listed in Appendix A (part 1 & 2) in the guidance notes?
– Does your business meet all eligibility requirements set out in the guidance notes?
– Have you checked the grants overview chart above to establish your eligibility?
If you’ve answered YES to all of the above, please email business@investsk.co.uk with the following information:
– Your business name
– Business address
– Confirmation you are the registered ratepayer
– Business rate number
Upon receipt of this information, eligible businesses will be issued with the LRSG Closed Addendum application form.
This new support is in addition to all existing grant schemes for eligible businesses since the 5 November national lockdown.
> Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) Closed 2
This discretionary fund is for businesses forced to close but that aren’t on the business rates register.
Important: please read the following guidance notes thoroughly and check your eligibility BEFORE submitting an application.
