Throughout the coronavirus crisis the public has been demonstrating a strong appetite for evidence, from scientific findings to government briefings, and in engaging critically with these reams of information. Evidence-based practice and decision-making has come very much to the fore.
Being evidence-based is at the heart of the CIPD’s new Profession Map and a vital skill for all people professionals to develop. What can we as a profession learn from this crisis about making more evidence-based HR decisions?
Join Rob Briner, professor of organisational psychology at Queen Mary University of London’s School of Business and Management and scientific director for the Center for Evidence-Based Management, and David D’Souza, CIPD membership director, as they discuss lessons from the COVID crisis and what it can teach the people profession about evidence-based practice.
The session will be chaired by CIPD senior stakeholder lead Katie Jacobs and attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions.
